Kamryn Harlye

I would like to introduce you all to the newest member of our family, Kamryn Harlye!  We are so excited to welcome this sweet little blessing into our lives.
Kamryn was born on July 11th at 7:58 AM and weighed in at 6 lbs, 7 oz - the exact same weight as both of her two older siblings.  She was 18 inches long and is a petite little thing!
We kept her name a surprise, just because Daniel thought it sounded like fun and convinced me to go along with it! Kamryn was a name that both of us loved. All of our children have middle names that are from someone in our family and Kamryn is no exception.  My grandfather's middle name, and his mother's maiden name, was Harless and (as most of you know from my middle name) the -ye is a common thing on that side of the family. And from that you get Harlye. :)
Kenna and Dane are in love.  Every time that Kenna came to visit at the hospital, the first thing she wanted to do was to hold her little sister.  She would just look at her and kiss her cheeks.  It is so sweet.
Dane just wants to keep trying to tickle her. :)
My two older ones, who are convinced that they are super heroes most of the time, were most impressed that their baby sister got them a new present.  Kenna could not believe that Kamryn was "zero years old" and had already gone shopping!  If you are in trouble, watch out for SuperKenna and SuperDane...they may be on the way to rescue you!
Our new family of 5 before leaving the hospital.  Kinda hard to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time!
Sweet Kamryn (poor thing...mommy forgot to get her bow out of the suitcase before we started the journey home)
All my chickadees ready for the ride home.  Kenna is excited that she gets to be the one who sits next to Kamryn.  She told me that she is going to take good care of her anytime we are riding in the car.
We had a nice welcome home party as well.  We were greeted by a stork in the yard announcing her arrival (Kenna kept telling me that we had a rooster in our yard! :))
And everyone enjoyed the Welcome Home cupcakes and cookies!

I need to get my mom to send me some of the pictures that she took on her camera - I know that she has some more closeups of the newest princess in our family.  I have a lot more pictures of all of the family members who came to help welcome Miss Kamryn into the world....those will be coming soon in the next post!
We are so thankful that God has blessed us with this sweet little one and can't wait to see what God has in store for her (and us)!
