Christmas 2012

This is going to be a complete picture overload...but there were so many cute ones, I couldn't decide which ones to put in and which ones to leave out!  We spent most of the holiday in Muleshoe.  We even woke up to a White Christmas on Christmas Day!  Of course, that made for a little bit of a hectic drive home, but Daniel did a great job getting us all home safe and sound!  And the kids had their own snow to play in when they got back home! (I think most pictures are self-explanatory...enjoy!)

Pre-K Polar Express

A few days before Christmas, the Pre-K classes at Kenna's school did a Polar Express Parade.  Every child was to make a train car that they brought to school.  Daniel took this on as a personal mission.  Instead of a decorated box (which most kids did), he made sure that her train had wheels, a top, and a headlight.  It was so funny to watch.  He actually had to cut it down a few times because it was too big and heavy for her to carry. :)  I love how excited they both were to do this project.  Kenna was very explicit on what colors she wanted to use on everything (a red train with green and silver polka dots)...so funny!

All of the other students of the school lined the halls and watched as Santa led all of the Pre-K'ers, dressed in their pajamas, down the hall and the Polar Express songs played over the loud speakers.  They also all had bracelets of bells tied around their wrists.  Once they made it to the end, they had hot chocolate and cookies waiting for all of the kids and their parents.

Dane loved getting to watch the parade and then play with Kenna's train car once we got it home.  Too cute!

Kamryn's first cereal

Kamryn was very ready to try some food...Mommy was a little hesitant.  It meant that my baby girl was growing up!  She liked rice cereal and caught on with the eating thing really quickly.  When we moved on to oatmeal, she was hooked!  She LOVES oatmeal.  She has since had lots of fruits and vegetables and we are starting on meat soon, but her favorite, by far, is oatmeal.

Don't you just love those cheeks and that chin! :)

Thanksgiving Fun Part 2

Thanksgiving is always such a fun holiday in the Boyd clan....everyone comes!  We had 33 adults and kids (plus 2 on the way) in on the celebration.  How could you not have fun! We actually celebrated the day after Thanksgiving since so many of the guys had to work on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving could not be done without a Boyd Football League game....complete with the logo on the "football field"

Dane and Daddy....ready to eat!

For the second year in a row,all of the kids participated in the story about the birth of Jesus.  Dane was supposed to be a shepherd.....who knew they had neon guns back in that time! :)

I love these two pictures of the table...full of family and food....and love.

Kamryn getting some loving from Aunt Sarah

Uncle Josh helping get toys out of the closet.  The kids love playing with all of their uncles!

More family time

I LOVE this family picture!!!
I am so thankful that my children are growing up surrounded by such loving family.

Thanksgiving Fun Part 1

Daniel had to work on Thanksgiving Day so the kids and I went to visit.  Between all of the other families, we had a very nice Thanksgiving meal.  We had tons of food and, luckily, the guys did not get a call while we were there so everyone was able to enjoy our time together.  The kids loved playing on the firetruck.  This was one of the first times that Dane has been interested in getting in....he has always been a little scared of that big, loud thing.  Ever since this visit, he has been IN LOVE with firetrucks!

Kenna and Dane were very excited to help me make the cornbread dressing.

What a fun Thanksgiving Day!

Time to Catch Up

I cannot believe that it has been this long since I posted.  What in the world happened!?!

Life with 3 kids is amazing.  We have loved the joy that Kamryn has added to our family and it makes my heart happy to watch Kenna and Dane playing with her....they love her so much!

So it is time to start blogging again.  I haven't posted anything about Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. so I am going to take some time to catch up.  I know some of this will be a repeat from what is posted on Facebook, but I like having all my pictures/stories in one place!
