Dane is 2!

I absolutely CANNOT believe that my little boy is 2!  He is such a special blessing to us!  We started the day with the obligatory picture still sleeping.  Kenna tried to take a picture of him after he woke up that day and he was not having any of it!  He kept yelling no and pointing his finger at her.  It was actually quite entertaining! :)

Daners had cupcakes at Ms Tara's and got to come home and swim in the pool for the first time this summer.  Too bad I don't have any pictures of either of those....but he was more than happy to open another present before bed!
He LOVES "bay-ball" and was very excited to get a new t-ball set from his sister.  Daddy even let him try it out in the middle of the living room that night.
And he was very excited to end the day by crawling into his new big boy bed in the room he is now sharing with his sister.  As soon as we asked him if he wanted to sleep in his new bed, he took off running!
He got all tucked in with his "necessary sleeping items" - his 2 blankets, his stuffed cow, and his pillow.  Apparently he thinks he needs it all! :)  Hey, whatever it takes, because other than one trip to put him back in bed, he slept all night!  And is now on night 4!
We had a birthday party for family on Saturday at a local playground/spray pad and the kids all seemed to have a blast!
Dane is in love with "The Backyardigans" and squealed when he saw his cake decorated with his friends.

And, once we cut the cake, Dane decided to dive in!
After he licked all the icing off his fingers, he went straight for the spatula.  His piece of cake and his fork were sitting right in front of him, but I guess that was just not good enough for him!

Despite all the sugar, Dane was asleep 5 minutes after we got in the car.  He is such a sweet, funny boy.  I am so excited to see what else is going to come from this special guy!
