We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and Kenna sure is growing!! The sono tech said she weighed about 5.5 lbs at this point (of course they are never exactly right, but....) and they usually grow about 1/2 lb a week towards the end. So glad we have a healthy, growing girl!!
Of course, she has decided that she is perfectly content right where she is.....with her head up by my ribs and her toes right by her mouth....I guess she is still sucking away like she was at our 20 week sono. Right now we are still waiting to see if she will turn but the Dr said he was a "little leery" that she would actually go all the way around. He said we will check again in two weeks to see if she is still breech and then decide what to do from there....
We had an assembly filled evening last night and Daniel put together the stroller, the swing, and all that fun stuff. Our house is definitely starting to look like we are ready for a baby!! Only a few more weeks!!

How exciting!!
Kalli was breech until about 3 weeks before her due date. I put in a lot of prayer and many upside down thoughts :)
I am sooo excited to meet Miss Kenna!!! I sure hope and pray that Miss Kenna turns for you... BUT I wouldn't panic if it doesn't work out. Both my girls were breech, C-sections - all turned about beautifully! Believe me, before Emma, I said TONS of prayers and did everything you can do to get baby to turn...and God's answer was just "no." I am very excited that we live in a day and age where even breech babies can be delivered safely. I would be happy to discuss if you ever want to!
You know JD's story already, but we will keep praying for Miss Kenna to make the big move for you! We are SOOO excited to meet our newest baby niece!!
You're probably already aware of most of these ideas. Some of them sound pretty "interesting" and could provide Daniel some material for a humor routine or two. Enjoy! :-)

So thankful that Kenna is developing so well. Will join in prayer that she turns where you can have a delivery without the c-section, but most of all that she just arrives healthy.
