Crash and Burn

My little Daners wants to be a real walker SO BADLY!!! He has been cruising around our furniture for weeks now and is getting more and more brave about trying to let go and take a few steps. He can actually go anywhere between 2-4 steps before he topples over. For the last week, anytime the object he was going for was more than 4 steps away, he would just drop to the floor and crawl before pulling himself back up. But now he has decided that he needs to be a little more adventurous. Now, instead of crawling for his play table/toy/etc., he will take his 4 steps and then try to dive the rest of the way. This plan works great if you are diving to Mommy or Daddy. But, if you are going for your sister's dollhouse, things don't go so well..... I couldn't get a great picture because, once he finished crying, he was much more interested in trying to put the camera in his mouth than showing me his injuries.

You can't see his bruise very well in this picture, but, who can resist that sweet little mouth!?!

Since we have now entered the world of rough and tumble boys, I am sure this will not be the last shiner in our house!! :)
